Deciding where to dine in Port City tonight? How does truffle, lobster mac and cheese with a side of fame sound?
Earlier Friday chef Steve Corry worked his magic — blending five cheeses with torchio pasta, butter poached lobster and shaved black truffles drizzled in white truffle oil — as a team of camera people descended on the swank Congress Street resto.
“They called us three weeks ago,” said co-owner Michelle Corry, who doesn’t know how the dish made the cut, but was not complaining. “It’s been a whirlwind.”
“Food Paradise” travels the country in pursuit of the tastiest donuts, biker fuel, diners, you name it. Focusing on America’s favorite comfort meal for a future episode, they went high-end with this $35 entree.
Swing by 555 Congress tonight from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for your chance to be in the show. The crew will be interviewing guests about why this 11 year-old institution rocks. If you love this dish, make a reservation now!
